Simran Kaur, Product Designer at Rakuten, Tokyo, Japan.   Simran Kaur is a Product Designer at Rakuten in Tokyo, Japan. She loves to create insight led and human-centered products. She firmly believes that design is a problem-solving tool and thus loves to dig into the most tiny details about the user and business needs to create the most easy yet impactful solutions.
With over 5 years of specialising in user experience in diverse environments, she advocates for user-centered design through her design practice which is a combination of design thinking and endless research with a ruthless prioritisation of the user. To do so, she regularly collaborates with product and engineering in a fast-paced agile-environment through team projects, workshops, and design meetings.
In her personal life, she’s a UX talk series host and design blogger (thedesignblog on Instagram) where she educates about User Interface and User Experience.
